FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION FAQs

  • The Fellowship is open to early-career professionals, graduate students, recent graduates, and practitioners seeking to pivot into intentional investing.

    We seek applicants who demonstrate a commitment to social impact, show curiosity about finance, and are ready to collaborate on applied projects.

  • The program runs for five to six months.

    Fellows should expect to dedicate up to 15 hours per week, including live sessions, project workstreams, and self-guided learning.

  • The program is primarily virtual, with live online sessions and global collaboration across cohorts.

    Select events or convenings may offer in-person opportunities, depending on timing and location.

  • Fellows participate in applied workstreams connected to 17III’s initiatives, such as the Reparations Finance Lab and the African Intentional Infrastructure Initiative, among others, gaining hands-on experience in designing strategies for systemic change.

  • The Fellowship is tuition-free. Our goal is to make intentional investing education accessible to diverse and emerging leaders worldwide.

    Fellows may be responsible for minimal costs associated with optional travel or events.

  • Fellows gain:

    • Practical skills in intentional investing frameworks and tools

    • Exposure to real-world projects and initiatives

    • Mentorship from experienced professionals

    • Access to a growing alumni network of 300+ leaders worldwide

  • Applicants will typically be notified within four weeks of the application deadline, following review and interviews for shortlisted candidates.

  • We receive applications from across the globe and admit a limited number of Fellows each cycle.

    Selection is based on alignment with our mission, demonstrated commitment, and the unique perspectives candidates bring to the cohort.
